Re: Where are you taking pictues
We are using Bayard Cutting Arboretum and their is no wedding the morning of mine so I can get into my RH early and to be honest one of the reasons I picked my RH is for its picture perfect location.
If it rains then I guess we will go right to the RH.

Re: Where are you taking pictues
I guess im really screwed if it rains because we have so much time in between the Church and the reception! Chruch is at 2:30 CH starts at 7!! there is another party going on during that day at the RH so we can't get there till 6!! I wanted to go to a beach to take pictures but we took pictures on the beach in Mexico last year and the FH hates sand! lol maybe the poop wont be soo bad august 15

Re: Where are you taking pictues
how far is the church from the RH?
for my sister's wedding we had SOOO much time in between that we went from St. Pat's in Bay Shore, to Old Westbury Gardens, to the East wind (wading river)
what about Vanderbuilt mansion in centerport? you need to pay but they have outdoor and indoor available, but they book up so i would call and ask soon.

Re: Where are you taking pictues
We are taking pictures at the Planting Fields Arboretum in Oyster Bay. I am keeping my fingers crosses that the weather holds up. It says 40% chance of rain. We can get to Leonard's an hour and a half early so as long as the weather hold up til 5, I will be fine. I just really want some outdoor pictures.

Is there a fee for the Planting Feilds? you need a permit or anything?
