Where are your guest putting their envelopes?

My sister had a really nice wedding cake box she got on clearance from Lillian Vernon (thanks to you girls )

What are you using and where did you get it?

I bought a beautiful asian styled birdcage that I'm decorating with flowers -- guests can slide their cards in there. You can get it at Eastern Trading on Route 110 in Farmingdale.

I actually bought a card box a few days before the wedding. It wasn't even weddingy, it was beige with palm trees and not even a slit for the cards, but it worked out perfectly. The palm trees totally went with my hall and people handed us envelopes at the end of the night and we just stored them in the box. We still have all of the cards in there and that's where they're going to stay!

Very nice! I have been going back and forth trying to decide what I want to use. Haven't decided yet but I like the birdcage.

If you are interested in a the wedding cake cardholder fm me. here is a sample pic

I used one at my wedding and it was a big hit. I still had some oldfashioned guest still come up to us on the dancefloor to hand us the envleope. but most guests put them in the box so we werent bogged down at the end of the night. we got to continue tearing up the dancefloor.
I dont know why my links wont work! but this is a pic from the one I made for my wedding.

I love the glass birdcage! I've never seen that before. Could you let us know where you get it from if you do get it?

Since my sister had the wedding cake box I'd like to have something different. I guess there is only birdcage, mailbox, bag, or treasure chest to choose from.

Since Tiffany boxes are part of our theme, I'm going to make a card box that looks like one big Tiff's box. It will have a small slot on the top.
