Where are your guest putting their envelopes?

My sister had a really nice wedding cake box she got on clearance from Lillian Vernon (thanks to you girls )

What are you using and where did you get it?

since I am doing a fall theme I really want a pumpkin, but it is a little hard to find. Any other fall ideas??

Honestly, my guests put their envelopes where they felt like it!

We had a pretty mailbox. but, there were SO MANY guests who just said, 'this is cash- I don't want to put it in your mailbox- you take it'

We have a bunch of photos where you can see envelopes hanging out of DH's pockets...

I think we have a cake-shaped box. My mother made me a money bag. It doesn't matter though. From all the family weddings I've been to, Italian people will never give up standing in line for half an hour to get their parting gift.

Is that what that is all about? I stood on line once at a wedding I went to as someone date, and couldn't figure out what was going on!!

APPARENTLY.....now, this is just what I've heard from family members.....but supposedly, at my aunt's wedding like 20 yrs ago, some cousins were caught stealing cards from my aunt's card box....and they were in their 30's then..so my mother and grandmother gave me strict orders to take them by hand and give them to my grandfather to watch

In our hands. Have heard too many stories of brides warning that envelopes 'mysteriously' disappear.

My sister made something for my other sisters wedding...basically wrapped a hat box in nice wrapping paper and decorated it..very pretty and not expensive! I'll be doing the same thing.

Thanks for all the ideas. I think I am going to try to make the picture frame box. I did a search and found the original post with directions! I am going to make mine white or ivory. I like crafts! Will post a picture if I can get it done
