where are your parents sitting at the reception?

with the groom's parents or not? my fh's family is from england so they don't know anyone at the wedding. i thought it was proper to have all the parents sit together.

They are sitting at separate tables. I gave them both a table and said they could choose who they wanted at that table. My mom has my grandparents, aunts, uncles, and the members of the bridal party on my side- my sister, her boyfriend and my best friend whose like a brother to me. FH's parents have his aunts, uncle, FFIL's aunt and cousin and FH's side of the bridal party-his brother, sister and brother-in-law.

We opted out of a 'Bridal party table' b/c the entire bridal party is family and it is only 6 people(FBIL and my friend decided not to bring dates). At a table for 12 it would look to empty so they are sitting at the family table.

we are not having them sit together but they will be next to each other. My parents will sit with my dads siblings and FH father has relatives coming from Sweden so he will sit with them and FH's sister.
