Re: Where-Bridesmaid dresses from?

I'm looking to do mismatched bridesmaid dresses. I have 4 bridesmaids, I was thinking all short about knee length, all the same kind of color but different tints of it. Either all different tints or 2 of one tint, two of the other. And all different necklines.

Does anyone have a sugestion of a company that has cute/nice dresses, and would make choosing different necklines but coordinating an overall unity easy?

Hope this makes sense. Thanks!

I'm getting my bm dresses from the same place as my dress, Lillette's in Bellmore. They were cheaper to begin w/ plus my girls will get 10% off their dresses bc I'm getting my dress there.

i would just pick a designer and a fabric and let the girls pick their own. if you want the same length you can make that a requirement too. this is a piece of cake. you can pick one color or brown for example and have one choc brown, lighter brown, etc.

Thanks for your response! I would like to do this, my only concern is that I don't want 3 girls picking the same dress and one picking a different one. I'd rather have them all different. Maybe I should just say that to the girls?

honestly, they prob wont. my girls all picked their own dresses (5 of them) and not a single one ended up with the same dress. if you're worried...just say something to them...but maybe after the pick bc it may not even be a problem

I am most likely going with Lillettes as well. They carry Jasmine dresses which you can really play with color and style but still have the same look! I'm doing mismatched as well!

This was my original idea and my concern also. I have 4 girls also and i told them they either have to all pick different dresses or all have the same dress but i prefered the different dress idea. I picked 6 different dresses that i liked all from the same designer and in the same material. Well they all liked the same dress so they all ordered the same dress.

You have to make it clear that every girl has to wear a different dress

Almost forgot. I got mine from the same place i got my gown from....Village Bridal
