My FG is five and a half. She'll be 6 1/2 at the time of our wedding. When we asked her to be our FG, the FIRST question out of her mouth was 'Do I get to throw petals?' Here is my problem: The church doesn't allow it. At all. I don't want to dissapoint her (she's my cousin and I'm very close with her and her brothers), and I got to throw rose petals at my aunt and uncle's wedding when I was her age and I thought it was the best thing ever!
My question is, where should she throw these petals? Laurie is including a bunch at the bottom of FG's basket. We're getting our pics taken in between the ceremony and reception at the Arboretum in Oakdale, but she probably can't throw them there, and I don't know if she can do it at the Venetian either!
Any suggestions ladies? Worse comes to worse, she can go nuts on my front lawn after we finish getting ready, but I wanted to hear some of your ideas. TIA!!!!

what if the photographer takes some pics of her throwning petals out on your walkway of your house before you come out??
like she is paving the way for your entrance for pics outside??

This is what I was going to suggest. She could be introduced and sprinkle the dance floor with them, then as each BM is introduced, they will have thewalkways of rose petals, and then you!

That's a cute idea because we have stairs going to the front door, so as we're walking out she could be throwing them ahead of me.
i was going to suggest this one, you might not want to upset the hall at the very beginning of your reception

it would decorate the stairs a little too!! you could be right behind her, and smiling at her.... i think it would make for a cute pic.
