I am curious to know where can I find bridesmaid dresses that start out at $100.00 to $150.00?
I fell in love with the Occassions Jimhelm dress for $225.00 and realized, what will happen if my girls need to have alterations done to the dress, which means chances are they would come out spending $350.00 when done. I would not want to pay that for no bridesmaid, dress..

I found Kathlin Argiro dresses in InStyle magazine that I loved but they were $310. then I found out Bloomingdales carried the same dresses and I got them on clearance for $109!!! They carry quite a few BM style dresses. I got very lucky and bought the dresses very early. I got them in August of 2003 for a July 2004 wedding and pray the BM don't gain weight! My point is that department stores are a great resource. If they don't have all the sizes you need (as was my case) call the department stores personal shoppers at as many stores as you need. They were great in my case and shipped me dresses from all over the country

I went to the bridal building and found Mori Lee dresses for the girls for $159 including alterations! It's on the 12th floor called Best Bridal. Good luck!

Try Estelle's Dressy Dresses on Rt 110 in Farmingdale, just north of Rt 24. It's sort of hit or miss so you may have to go a couple of times but the have great stuf & good prices.

Commack Wedding Center also has good prices. My sister got her BM dresses there (Alfred Angel) and they were $160. I was looking there for my wedding and the 2 I liked were $130 and $190. They have pleantly of dresses around $100-$150. They also have a cap on alterations of $55.

Yes and you can even order the 'prom' dresses as BM dreses... they are $59 or $79 or $99 I think, but you have to order them all and pay for them all at once.

I bought mine from RK Bridal in the city. They were $165 in the store and I got them for $104! I believe they carry Jim Helm dresses there too!!

have you given thought to ordering online. The money you save could go towards independent alterations. That is what I am doing. I am using pearlsplace.com.

estaells is where all my girls got there dresses. the most they spent was 125 and the cheapest was 65.. you can talk them, down if just 1 bead is missing!!!! good luck!

I ordered my girls dresses online at loralie.com. I had 4 girls that live in Florida so getting them up here to look at dresses was impossible. I searched online and picked out a dress and they all called in their measurements and ordered them. And I must say they are absolutely beautiful. They are even prettier than the picture. And they are very inexpensive. The dress my girls got was $116.
I got mine at RK Bridal for $76 (before tax). RK Bridal is pretty inexpensive plus they will beat any price by 5%. My dress was $105 at RK Bridal and then found it cheaper on the internet and RK beat the price.

try David's Bridal especially since they live down south. There is a David's Bridal down there. one of my jr BM live south and I told her to get her dress from them out there. I also have 2 BM in Ohio and they are also getting their dress from DB out there. some of their dresses are not that expensive. plus they have a nice selection.

Alot of the major stores (Macy's, Bloomingdales ect...) have great dresses. Why don't you look there.
