Where can I get a slipcover for a couch that does not have those big poofy arms to it??

Did you try Target?

Surefit seems to make most of the slip covers on the market - I searched high and low for options last year and it always led back to Surefit.

They do have some for narrower arms, and recommend that you pad narrow arms with some quilt batting. I have one on my sofa with narrow arms and it''s OK. Look for the ones that have the gathered seam at the front, instead of the large rounded flat panel for the big poufy arms. With the gathered seam you can tuck them in to look neater.Surefit

I have this one in a bag in my basement. We got it to cover my old couch but we bought a new couch shortly thereafter:

I had it dry cleaned before I bagged it up so if you would cover the dry cleaning cost (about $30) and the shipping, you (or anyone else who wants it) can have it. It retails on Surefit for $160.

There is a surefit outlet on Ebay. The slipcovers are much cheaper but smaller selection of course. Worth checking out. Just search for surefit on the ebay.com site.
