Can you tell me any places that would alter a gown for me. I am going to purchase my gown from online. So any places in queens or Long Island. Thanx

i have no idea- i've posted about this before and also on VHB but have gotten no response....if you hear anything let me know too!!! i'll do the same for you..

Hmmmm....I am not sure u could try a dry cleaners and ask if they have any seamstresses that specialize in bridal attire.

i highly recommed the woman that is making my dress.. she is in port jefferson station.. FM if you want her info she is amazing!!

i don't think so...I'm pretty sure she will do just alterations...you may want to see what her price would be on your dress before you order...i hear she gets killer prices!

I know someone in New Hyde Park (or somewhere around there) that alters gowns. She use to be the tailor for Sugarplum. FM if you want the info, I have it at home.

Phyllis is beyond awesome. i did not buy my gown there, and she is altering mine. she's done a fabulous job so far and i can't wait for my next fitting!

Also Burtons does alterations. I can't personally comment on pricing, but I've heard from other gals here that they're reasonable.
