Does anyone know where I can get a passport picture done?
I've been looking for one of those booths at the mall, but can't find one .

Any CVS or other drug store that has film processing can usually do it for you.

Can't you go to like a Genevese or something? I don't live in LI anymore, but I remember for HS I got mine done there when I went to Italy. Also, my public library also offers that as well...

I went to a Kodak store here to do it. I actually went to a CVS who said they didn't do it and told me about the Kodak store.
If you go to www.USPS.com and go to passports, they will then transfer you to the government branch that issues passports. There is a link that will tell you who in you area does it by zip code. I had mine done at Eckert

CVS or Ekards both do it for $8 for two pics. When I got my pass port, the post office didnt do the pic for you. So bring them with you when you go to fill out the application. Good luck!

You can go to a Motophoto location and they'll do it.

Are you getting a passport for the HM? You better get going....I made FH get his in January...and it took about 4 weeks to get back. Also...you have to send away your original birth certificate...so that would leave you empty handed for the HM if it gets held up.
There is a place in NYC...down on Hudson Street where you can go and get a passport immediately...but you need an appointment.

I work on Hudson St. across the street from what was formerly INS (I don't know what they call it) and I tried to get my passport there. They said that the only way you can get a rush passport there is if you need your passport in 14 days or less from the day you go in and you need to show plane tickets or an itinerary.
If you already have a passport and you lost it or you requested one and it doesn't come in time, THEN you go to them and they can do it in the same day, I believe.
Best bet, go to the local drugstore or stationery store and get your pic TODAY, then go to the post office ASAP. Mine took 3 weeks.

Walgreen's - or most any drugstore...and I think Kinko's does them too.

I used to work right across the street also! First I was at 325 Hudson, then 435 Hudson.

I got my passport at townhall in Hempstead. In the passport department, for an extra charge (I think it was $5) they took my picture.
