You can take Amtrak to lots of places, I think its fun to do.
Rhode Island, Boston, D.C. all aren't too far

Newport RI is beautiful, and you can take the ferry out of Port Jeff.

Block Island is beautiful that weekend usually, as is Newport, RI. Both are easily accessible via ferry from the East End. You could also go up to the Berkshires in CT and find a little B&B in the mountains.
are you guys looking for activity or just someplace to chill out?
