Where can I sell ALL my law books and get (reasonably) paid?
I want to sell all my law textbooks, casenotes, study guides, etc... you name it I got it. Do any of you know where I can sell ALL my law books and get (reasonably) paid? I spent sooooooo much money on everything that I don't want to make $3.00 on a book that I paid $100 for. Thanks for your help.
P.S.-I never sold anything on ebay and don't feel comfortable doing so.

I got the most money selling my books on Amazon.com...It's easier then E-bay, you simply put the ISBN of the book up, and then choose a price and hit sell. Amazon takes a small fee( a few cents) and gives you a shipping credit on top of the cost. Then they deposit the money into your checking account.
I have sold every text book I ever listed on there...most for over $50. I was not always the lowest seller either...depending on condition and location, people will snatch them up..I have bought mine off Amazon too.
I paid $235 for a book ( math) last year and I resold it for $170 ( thats a GOOD turn around ) The buy back program at the school offered me $55!

Wow...that is really good. Is signing up easy? Do you need a picture of the book you are selling? How do you calculate the S&H that the person has to pay? Thanks so much Donna.

I got good prices on some, some weren't so hot...it totally depends. They will give you a price quote if you type in the ISBN #. If you think its not worth it check out another place...cant hurt to try!

They give you a set shipping 'credit' added to the price...I did find though it was sometimes as much as 50 -75 cents lower then what it cost me, but I sold more at better prices then e-bay. The hardest part was putting your checking info in to get paid. Then you clcik'sell your stuff' and you can choose to put in an ISBN # from back of book. Then all the info on the book(including picture, details etc.) Is there already, you only have to list condition of the book( you choose from a list) and then a price. I normally see what everyone else is selling theirs for and then list it about mid-range to lower end of the scale. I have had success. I once had a book up with like 100 other sleers sell ( but I listed the price low) Check out what the others are seliing it for first to see if you'll make money...

I just went to the website...when I put in the ISBN #...it said $0 next to used and new. Can you explain to me how the process works. Once they put in the info...I have to click on the bottom 'sumbit/ printing labels/packaging'...something like that...what does that mean..I haven't clicked sumbit yet cause I'm not sure what it means. Do they give me a price after that?
The way I understood the process was: you give them your books and then they mail you your payment , including S&H...is this right? How fast do you get paid? Thanks again for your help.
