Where can my mom buy a MOB dress off the rack?

Where can my mom buy a MOB dress off the rack?

My mothers dress was destroyed by her seamstress. Weddings is 3.5 weeks away! Need to find a dress fast!
Any ideas?

I think Estelle's in Farmingdale (on route 110) would have MOB dresses. Also I think most bridal stores would sell the sample off the rack.

Davids Bridal!! Paradise bridal will sell them off the rack and alter them to fit as well!! good luck!

I agree...Estelle's has dresses you can buy off the rack. Also, try Bloomingdales/Lord and Taylor. Macys in Manhasset might let you buy them off their rack.

I plan to check Penneys and Boscovs, as well as King of Prussia stores, and pray I find an off the rack MOB gown!!!! I hate ordering/alterations!!!!! Mary MOB

Estelle's has a nice selection, Lord & Taylor also has some pretty MOB dresses and RK Bridal sells their samples also, they have tons.

Try Nordstrom at Roosevelt Field..Bloomingdales also!

Also check the Nordstrom web site. Shipping isn't too expensive, and you can make returns directly at the store.

The Dillard's web site also has nice MOB dresses.

i would go to a regular store, my mom, stepmom AND FMIL all found there dresses at regular stores. they got them at macys.

My best friends mom found her dress in Pzzaz....you really have to hunt because there are some dresses that are just not appropriate but she found a gorgeous dress there!

my mom found hers at Totally You ... i think thats in merrick. we really liked it, they were friendly, let you try on dresses in your size because the store is split up by size and she bought off the rack

boutique Elle and Mieka in the Woodbury Commons -- mom and FMIL and FSIL all got their dresses there off the rack

Estelles. My Mom got hers there. She was anti Estelles at first but they carry some of the same stuff as Bridal Reflections and other shops.

My mom got hers through Spiegel. If you order quickly, you'll definitely have it in time.

If not, there's a boutique in St. James called Metamorphosis, and they have tons of MOB dresses. Some may be off the rack. I know some are regular bridal designers so would need to be ordered, but others you may be able to get in time.

we went to Estelle's for FMIL... my mom can't wear a dress since she's in a wheelchair and has so many health problems that there is very little she can wear.
