Where did everyone buy their

baby's furniture? I want to look around because none of the furniture stores near me have anything I'm looking for. I dont like the dark wood or the white, I'm more of a natural colored wood, maybe a sleigh style crib, any help would be appriciated

We got this one from JC Penney in the maple finish, its not the darkest like Cherry but not the lighter like Natural. We got it with the drawer kit which is real handy. We had it shipped to the store and saved a little on shipping chgs and DH put it together.

I bought the same set your describing. I got it at Babies R us.

We got ours at Buy Buy Baby in Huntington. They had a good selection.

stacy, I was in Baby's R us today to buy a baby gift for a friend and I noticed alot of 'natural' looking baby furniture. The one I was in was off of Whitestone Expwy in Queens.

And I saw a few 'sled' type styles too. What I thought was cool is that you change them around when the child is older into a day bed or use the back of it as a headboard for a twin bed.

The one we are getting is at Burlington Coat Factory. Someone told us they have quite a bit of furniture there. We were skepical, but I found a Childcraft set there I really liked. It's a medium wood, most of what they had at BRU was really light or really dark.

we had gotten ours in Babies R Us 6 yrs ago we got the crib that turns into the toddler bed and then into a twin bed. We still use It is so durable I love it I had a problem with finish due to my humidofier(sp) and the company replaced it free. I wanted one that would last and I would not have to keep going out to buy furnitutre. If I have another one which I want to I will use it again. All the ones in this style were made of partical board but this was made of wood, thats another reaon I liked it.

The Baby Depot at Burlington coat factory. It was the only one that had our crib.

We got our set in the natural color. We looked all over (BRU, BBB, Bellini's, Behr's) and emded up getting a set by Bonavita in BBB in Huntington. We chose Buy Buy Baby because you can use their 20% off coupons. WE got one from a friend and were able to save quite a bit on the crib.

I bought my furniture at Behr's in Massapequa - they've been wonderful to deal with and have a HUGE selection of cribs. I got the below crib in light wood.

I went to Behrs in Massapequea as well and they had a huge selection and some great stuff. I plan on buying it next weekend. I am going with a Carmel colored wood.
