I need to start looking soon and think that Kleinfeld is pretty much my only choice because I'm a major label whore!
Was anyone able to get a desinger dress at a shop on the island?

I went to RK Bridal, i work in midtown so it was easy. Got my Casablanca dress on my FIRST dress shopping trip, at a great price, and it came in the very week they predicted it would arrive!!!! So i'm a happy customer!!1

I got mine at Beautiful Bride in Lynbrook. I know they had some designers such as Alfred Angelo etc

Lillette's in Baldwin. Maggie Sottero...was second dress I tried on! Bought it on the spot.

I absolutely LOOOOVED fantasia as most do who end up there. Its in Rocky Point right on the corner of Rocky Point Rd. & Rt.25A. They're bridal gown selection is never ending - they just kept bringing me gowns upon gowns upon gowns...i easily tried on like 50 dresses! They were the only bridal shop that were so happy to have me there for hours! Everywhere i else i got attitudes if i tried on more than 5 at a time....besides that, their seamstresses are renound, their prices are literally unbeatable(because if u find the price cheaper anywhere else they'll beat it), and the staff is SO freakin' nice!(little marie is the best :) ) ANYWAYS, good luck! they're wonderful!!!

I tried mine on at RK Bridal and then bought it online through their website for 300 dollars less

Bridal Suite of Bayshore. I got Jasime dress. It was a really clean store!! They were great!

I got mine at The Wedding Center in Commack, they can pretty much get you anything even if they don't have (but they did have allot).
I know they have some bad reviews on here, but they have been really good to me. I just got the call Saturday that my dress is in, we weren't expecting it until end of August!
If you go I would try and get Hellene.

You can also try Bridal Reflections, they have a location in Massapequa and one in Carle Place too. I think they even have 1 in NYC too.

I got mine at Kleinfeld's......its by Pnina Tornai. it was the 2nd dress I tried on. absolutely loved my experience there! I would def. recommend going there! everyone was so helpful!

I bought my dress from Macys!
I also went to davids bridal, bridal garden and tried on one dress at RK bridal.
