Where did everyone buy their dress?

I need to start looking soon and think that Kleinfeld is pretty much my only choice because I'm a major label whore!

Was anyone able to get a desinger dress at a shop on the island?

I'm going to start at RK Bridal since I work in the city. One designer that I really like isn't carried by them so I have to figure out where else to try on that designer.

Bridal Reflections has major designer labels. Or go to Mark Ingram if you're going really high-end, it's supposed to have the most amazing gowns and incredible service.

I got my Casablanca gown at the Commack Wedding Center because they gave me the best price. Tried it on at RK Bridal. I love designer gowns, but there was no way I was spending that much for one day, and now that it's over, I'm doubly glad I went with mine. I loved it, got a lot of compliments on it, and I'm not still paying for it!

I got mine at Wedding Salon of Manhasset.

They have a TON of designers.

i got mine at the bridal suite in centereach its a davinci and i love it!!

Iman Bridal Couture. I purchased a Pronovias dress there and they also carry other designers like Atelier Aimée, and Amsale-- all three brands also sell at Kleinfeld.

Lillettes in Baldwin. Bought my gown off the rack... got WONDERFUL service there... i love them

I put money down on my dress at the Bridal Suite of Centereach. They dropped $150 off the price right over the phone when I told them I found it for less, and they were really helpful when I went in. I had to be there for about 2 1/2 hours, and I didn't feel rushed once. I was dealing with Robin. She sent me home with about 5 books for Bridesmaid dresses, and wrote down all the colors I liked from each designer. They didn't send in the order yet for my gown because since I'm so short (4'11) they are having it made to my height, and I don't have my shoes picked out yet! I'm considering calling RK Bridal to see if I can get the dress a little cheaper, but at the same time..I really liked dealing with the Bridal Suite...but its REALLY far from my house...decisions..decisions.....

I got mine at Adriennes in East Islip...ladies are so sweet but they do not tell you the designer until the dress is ordered & in...don' t know why but I didn't care becasue I absolutely love my dress!

bridal suite of bayshore-- they were soo nice and accommodating, i love working w/ them!

Bridal Suite of Bayshore. I got Jasime dress. It was a really clean store!! They were great!

i brought mine from saks in the city.. and i'm not keeping it so if u're a label whore on a budget.. take a look in my album. it's on sale..

Mine is an Anne Barge from Kleinfeld's. I loved my experience there!! I go this Saturday for my first fitting -- can't wait to see my dress

Thanks for all the advice. I'll probably wind up at Kleinfeld's.

I'm a label whore and I'm dead set on wearing Jim Hjelm.
