FH proposed at our favorite restaurant in La Jolla. He surprised me for my bday there 2 yrs ago on my first trip to the West Coast and this year I got another surprise...
It was so beautiful.

I wish I had pictures, DH purposed in our apartment I got home and he was at the door on one knee with the ring in his hand and a dozen roses, I was so excited i just started hugging im and crying, finally after like 2 minutes he is like do you want to see your ring

On our couch. I was couch ridden for 6 weeks after foot surgery. I wanted to jump up and down but all I could do was sit there!!!

Fh proposed at Saxon ave ext where we first got together...I knew he had the ring because we had just come back from AZ and while walking through the metal detector the @$$ worker pulled it out of the bag. FH was Pisssed but he waited until the following month, which was like torture for me lol. I ruined all of his original ideas by saying wouldnt it be so cute if you had Bailey(our puppy) run in with the ring around his neck and another idea he had lol, he was so mad at me that I kept ruining his ideas hahahaha. It was just the 2 of us so no pics but after he asked me I was crying and screaming and jumping up and down and he finally said ummm do you want to see the ring hahahaha

In Avalon Park/Stony Brook Duck pond...we have a little bench that's off the beaten path there, and I knew that that's where he would do it. It was pretty funny, because we ran into a coworker of his on the way there, and she had no idea what was about to go down, so she's talking about her cat licking up antifreeze in the driveway and seizing and dying, and I LOVE cats, so FH was panicking that I was going to start crying and lose it and he'd have to do it another time haha. Luckily, I maintained my composure, though apparently all too well, because FH complains that I didn't 'seem' excited and just yoinked the ring from him Yeah, I wasn't jumping up and down and crying, I knew it was coming, but I was definitely happy and felt contented, like everything was as it should be.

Looking at pics from that day to now, even though only 6 months have elapsed, I look so haggard now in comparison, it's crazy!

Carmel Beach in Cali...we were driving down the coast from San Fran to LA. He took me to Cali for my 30th bday.

My fav park to walk around...Little Bay Park in queens. He did it on 'our' bench that looks over the Bridge that links The Bronx (me) to Queens (him).
