I know it's been said before, but where did you buy your dress and why? I need to find a reputable place to buy a dress and have alterations done and need opinions...thanks.

Wedding center of Commack. The woman I dealt with never seemed like I was taking her time she just reminded me that I have to be happy and she was the one who had to keep getting me dress because I went by myself 1/2 an hour before it closed and I was there even after it closed and I must of tried my dress on 4-5x just to make sure. I was worried at first because I didn't hear good things but they had my dress as a sample so I figured what's the worst that can happen and my dress was a couple of hundred less there anyways. I don't know if I'm getting it altered there or not

Pronovias Flagship in NYC. I tried on a Pronovias gown at the Bridal Suite in Centerreach and felt a little bit pressured by the saleswoman so I decided to check out the Pronovias store. Had a great experience.

Bridal World. I went there about 4 times before I found my dress. Everytime they were really helpful and had great prices. So far no issues I have to set up my alterations though

wedding salon of manhasset. got a lot more bang for my buck. rosemary was amazing, and i get 15% off BM dresses. oh, and it's 5 minutes from my house. that helps a lot.

Alexandra Boutique in Forest Hills. They gave me an awesome price for the dress I wanted. They happened to be running a sale on the dress the day I went. The same dress cost $1,350 in other stores. And another big thing for me, is that it is walking distance from my house

I bought mine from Renates, My mom had gotten her dress from there. They were completely amazing. Also got my BM dresses from there

Bridal Suite of Centereach. Best price I found on my dress locally and great service.
Haven't heard anything bad about them.

Fantasia Bridal in Rocky Point
Reason I bought it there........simple........it was highly recommended by my vendor and they had the dress I fell in love with. I just kept going back to that dress. I also liked the people there because they weren't pushy at all and they do have a nice assortment of dresses. Maria, the seamstress, has a great reputation and she will make any bride look like a million dollars. She's good at her job.

bridal reflections massapequa....
the help there was amazing. the woman i worked with was totally honest with the dresses and only pulled dresses in my budget. it was a great experience. (my dress also came in in 2 1/2 months)
