where did you girls shop and find your dress? expensive or not?

I bought mine at lillettes, baldwin...they were pretty affordable.my dress wasn't too bad in price....i don't see spending thousands of dollars on something i'm going to wear ONCE when i could put it towards a house!!!!

i got mine at Bridaltown, in PA. They have an entire building for plus size gals...
It wasn't expensive all things considered. INCLUDING alterations, veil, bra & tiara - it was less than 1,700!

Mine is an Oleg Cassini, the top line at David's. It was onsale, so I got $200 off ... I plan to get everything I need - dress, shoes, veil, tiara, jewelry, bra, slip - for under $1000.

celestial brides, pa. i paid $1750.00 that includes alterations and they sew a blue heart inside my gown w/ our initials and date and all my ***. i get 15% off and so does my bridal party.

I went to Lynbrook Bridal. They carry all different brand names too.
and it was just under $1000

Bridal Suite of Centereach. The dress was expensive but I made them knock it dow $300 and 10% off my veil!!!Now I can afford it

Davids bridal....first store i even went to and fell in love didn`t wanna go anywhere else. and it was on sale 100 off with veil slip and tiara it was less then 550

I found it at bridal reflections but ordered from bridal elegance, it was under $1000

I found mine at the Wedding Center in Commack but I bought it at Bridal Elegance.
The Wedding Center would have matched the lower price, but I was much more comfortable at Bridal Elegance than I was at TWC.
Bridal Elegance's price was OUTSTANDING! even though i had to order a 'plus size' it still came out cheaper than anywhere else's 'regular sizes'

same here...My dress was under 1000.00 there and they have a lot of styles and brands. I also did my bridesmaid dresses there.
