Where did you get or are getting your wedding invites?
I need help with invites and that is my next 'to do'. I don't want anything crazy expensive. Where is everyone going?? How much did they cost?

we are getting ours from InvitationsbyDawn.com. Includes:
- 125 invitations - outer envelopes with printed return address - lined inner envelopes for invitation - RSVP cards with printed envelopes - Reception card insert.
They offer free FedEx shipping on orders over $175 and they always seem to have a certain percentage off available.
Normal price = $337.20 Best discount i've seen - 20% off = $269.76

This is SOOOO something that I don't want to spend alot of money or aggravation on. I am DIYing them with invites that I got from AC MOORE. You can pretty much customize them anyway you want, and they certainly didn't break the bank. When I actually start them, I'm sure I will find them to be alot of work...but I think it's worth it to save the money on something people never keep anyway.

I'm looking to spend only a few hundred...I received samples from several vendors and have no idea which I liked best.... I've heard of brides spending thousands on invites.....crazy in my opinion!

This is exactly what I am doing too!!! plus they always have the 40% off coupons so i figured I could save even more!!!

I really don't want to spend alot on invites b/c we are spending alot on everything else....so I feel like it's the one thing I can save on! Also, I think most people (other than immediate family members) throw the invites out after the wedding.... I found some elegant, affordable ones at David's bridal that I am pretty sure I am getting
they have some nice stuff! and their samples and shipping are free

I went to AC Moore Arts & Crafts store. They were 25$ for a box of 20 and i purchased 4 boxes. I also used two 40% coups and two 50% coups. So i got a pretty good deal on them. I am planning on printing them on my own to save even more money. IMHO invitations are the number one thing couples spend too much money on. No matter how close you are to someone they will not cherish your wedding invitations like you, your mother and mother-in-law will.

I am using eloquently designed...laura is such a sweet person looking to save you money in any way possible. She came to my house twice and came with lots of books.

Indianweddingcard.com. 1.75 for invite which includes 2 inserts and they charge printing price for each insert. total is about 400$ for 100 which includes guests addresses in gold font on envelope.

I haven't decided yet but I'm either going to DIY or find something on the cheap side - definitely not more than $500 TOTAL.

did you get them yet? how are they quality wise?
I purchased a sample and I think the quality is great. The paper is a nice heavy stock and the printing is very clear and so are the graphics. That is of course just speaking about my invitation. I'm sure they have other invites that may not be made on the same cardstock, so i would def. suggest ordering some samples before making your decision.
