I'm looking to start looking this weekend and would like to go somewhere with a good variety. Queens, Nassau or Suffolk is preferable.

netbride.com - they were $100 less than Macy's. RK Bridal gave me the same price as netbride.

Same here! I just picked mine up from them on Sunday, they're gorgeous and believe it or not, they came in TWO WEEKS after I ordered them!!!

RK Bridal. The selection is amazing so it might be worth it to make a trip with the gals into Manhattan.

We got ours at The Wedding Center in Commack. I called other stores and TWC was the cheapest.

Pretty crowded - I'd recommend going right when they open at 10. They're open on Sundays again (at 11AM), which seems to be a little quieter.

Saturdays..well, they are super crowded and you may not get the best of their service, to be quite honest. If you have to make is a Saturday, then try when they first open. If you get their early (around 9am), I have heard that they let brides in early sometimes.

Flowerama in Glendale. I have to admit the selection wasnt all that but I knew what I wanted and thats where I got my dress so......

I haven't bought dresses from them, but I live a few blocks from there and have stoppsed in often enough. The people are very nice and have always been helpful.

Yes the people there are super nice!!!!! I grew up in Ridgewood and the florist there is a family friend.

The Baldwin Wedding Plaza. Nice selection and they were a lot less $$ then a lot of the other stores.
