Where did you get your bridal bra (for strapless gowns)?

Where did you get your bridal bra (for strapless gowns)?

My wedding dress is strapless and has a deep V-shape in the back. I initially bought the self-adhering chicken cutlets that clip together, but they don't really give me the lift/support I want. Do any of you ladies know of a great undergarment store in NYC, Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau or Suffolk or even Westchester? I'll travel wherever I have to for a good undergarment store. Thanks ladies!

i've been to Bra-tenders, Linda's bra shop and Intimacy all in Manhattan. My favorite one is definitely Intimacy. They do alterations on bras for free to make sure that it till fit perfectly, because I'm in between two sizes.

They are on the corner of 90th and Madison. I worked with Oumou, she's great.

Awesome! Thanks. I'm between a 32 & 34 (although with my losing weight who knows?) and I need a very particular type of bra for my dress. I definitely will check them out. Thank you so much ladies!!!!

I went to Bra Tenders and really wasnt that impressed with them. I didnt see the point in spending almost $200 on bridal undergarments. I got mine in Macy's on 34th street and i absolutely love it. You can also try fredricks of hollywood.

I got the Victoria's Secret one and it was sewn into the dress (then removed after the wedding)
It held well

I went to VS and got the corset with the high-waist thigh shaper. A strapless bra works as well. I know the prices tend to be higher than norm. You can also find designer brands/dept brands at discount prices- Century 21 Dept Stores, Daffy's, Target, Forever 21, H&M, Joyce Leslie, etc.

I didn't wear one!

Best decision ever! I had cups put into my dress and also had boning added to the bodice My dress fit like a glove! It was sooooo comfortable! And my dress was HEAVY!--- look at all that fabric and it was raw silk so it was crazy heavy!

Ask your seamstress about boning and cups!
