where did you get your shower dress

Original post by Espo22

I have to go this weekend and also will go the rest of the week too.

I dont want to go crazy going to tons of stores.

I will check out bloomingdales and nordstroms. Maybe arden b, not sure about bebe bc all their dresses are real short and probably not a great idea for the shower.

Theres a particular look i want to go for. I want a vintage type looking dress, the 50's-60's style with platform peep toe, pearls and probably a cardigan. Im also going to check out posh vintage dresses and see what they have available.

No problem. Just make sure if you do order from them that you click the regular or petite for sizing. I didn't see that when I ordered them and needed petite. Not sure if it really makes a difference. I went to look at the store in the Roosevelt Mall and they didn't have a huge selection. They have more on their website.

oh i dont want to order from a site bc i need one soon so gotta see what delivery time is. Another problem i have is that MANY dresses dont fit me well so i prefer to try it on. My measurements are off, between my bust and waist theres a difference of 10 so bc of that i have the most difficult time with dresses lol. I am going to roosevelt field mall so maybe they'll have something at the store lol

thank you so much. I figure the dress is nice but casual so wont be too dressy for a daytime event and the shoes can add that extra something

I wore a sweater dress very similar to this one for my shower. Except it isn't turtleneck, it's low sccop neck. It has a white button collar shirt under it....it is short sleeve too.
I wore it with black tights and black stiletto boots. I got a lot of compliments.
