My MOH wants to start planning it. I actually don't really want one though. I'm just curious as to what everyone else did for theirs. I want her to keep it as mild as possible.
I'm going to try to respectfully decline a bachelorette party and maybe get her to focus more on the shower instead. (She is planning both.)

my shower and bach party is on the same day bc i few of my bms and friends are out of towners and it would be hard for them to come up an extra time.
after the shower, they have rented a limo and we are going to the city to a tapas restaurant and then out afterwards. the next day we'll be canoeing and have a picnic on the beach.
you could do a variation of this perhaps. or maybe just dinner????

I'm having an unofficial bach party in New Orleans w/3 girls from my BP & a few other friends over July 4 weekend.
Then we're doing 1 on the same day as the bridal shower with friends/fam who didn't go to N.O., dunno what's gonna happen at that 1 but can't wait to find out!

I am having a spa day the day before the wedding. Everyone is getting manicures and pedicures and I am getting a massage and then taking the girls out to lunch.

We went out to dinner and then to a dueling piano bar. We started with a pre-party at my house.

I had dinner at my sisters with a bunch of friends and then went bar hoping in a limo. We spent most of the night at the Groove Shack in Jillian's...danced our asses off...SO MUCH FUN!!!

I REALLY, REALLY don't want to have one. I know my MOH means well, but she is the only one in my BP. If I had a bunch of BMs I could understand, but I'd actually be going out on a limb and inviting a couple people who I haven't seen in years but I would love to have there. I would just rather she concentrate her energy on the shower, which she and my FMIL are planning also. Is there a way to tell her this without hurting her feelings? I feel bad because she is so into the idea.

We went to Vegas for mine. We are taking my cousin to Mohegun Sun (in Connecticut) for hers. They have a casino, spa, great restaurants, etc.
If you don't want to stay a weekend...maybe you can do a day trip.

We went out to dinner on the island and then took a limo into the city and went to a couple of different bars. Nothing crazy, except 12 girls drunk walking around the city!!

Probably start with dinner and then rent a limo and go bar hopping. As long as I am with my girls and we are all having a great time, I don't care what we do. Eternity-we are both getting having our reception at the Coral House- How cool?!

I am planning my sisters for Sept. We are renting a limo for us, then off to the city for dinner...possibly at Brassieri 21/12. Then possibly go to watch Hunkamania show and then the Culture Club. She is wild, so this is up her alley.
I am the kind of girl who wants to do a day at the spa, then dinner, and maybe Broadway show or just movie at the local theater.... boring...I know! LOL
