Where did you ladies get your veils?

Where did you ladies get your veils?

So I found one I loved when I bought my dress at Kleinfeld...but obv it's a pretty obscene about of money

If I don't find one I'd get the one I tried on there, but I'd rather not spend that much money...also, it was fingertip length, and I'd much prefer elbow length.

Is there somewhere I can go where I can show a picture of the veil and they can make it for me? Or is there somwehere I can just go where they have a ton to pick from?

Thanks ladies

The White Gown in Brooklyn made mine for me. I wanted it longer than it came so they had to make mine in-house for me. I am not sure if you can bring in a picture - but if you want thier contact info let me know. They're great there!

Try Barrons at the TriCounty flemarket in Levittown. I just ordered mine from there last weekend. They will pretty much make whatever you want - I had them combine elements from 2 different veils they had there. And I origianlly asked for elbow length but then thought I wanted it just a little bit longer, so they are making it 2 inches longer - but they could make it any length and customize it however you want.

Thank you everyone! I'm thinking I'll give Barrons a try. Anyone know when they are open?

I'm pretty sure Barron is open Thurs-Sun. I know they open at 10 on Sunday, but not sure about the hours on other days.

thats the annoying thing about Tri-County they are only really open on weekends. i think they might be open on thurs night now but im not 100% on that. they are definitley there saturdays and sundays though. their booth is right by the front doors facing hempstead turnpike.

I got both of mine from David's. I didn't want to spend a ton and I was really happy with them honestly.

Re: Where did you ladies get your veils?

i know everyone loves barron's but i had a bad experience there both times i went

first i went to look at veils right after i ordered my dress and because it was a year before my wedding they actually wouldnt let me try anything on

then about 7 months ago i went to try on headpieces and i asked if they could do somethign custom and they said NO! then i asked if i could put a deposit on the one i liked and pick it up when it got closer to my wedding and they said 'if it's here when you come get it, you can have it - we dont save merchandise for anyone' i've heard of tons of girls on here getting custom stuff from them and beautiful items, but apparently they have it out for me because i had a bad experience BOTH times

i really can't say enough wonderful things about Bridal Styles. i bought my headpiece there and they told me to come in a week before the wedding and they will polish it for me to make sure it is perfect for the day of. Not cheap, but definitely worth the money.
