Where did you meet your FH?? (I love these kind of stories!!)

You know whats funny? Seeing how many people lived really close to each other or parents knew each other before they met. Its kinda scary right??
The same thing just happened to me, I was talking to my grandmother and she was asking me about my FH's family (she's only met his Mom). Well it turns out our grandfathers grew up together in Brooklyn, were in the Marines together, and still keep in touch!! Although they didnt know their grandkids were getting married. What a small world it is!!

I looove these stories! I see a couple of Hollywood movie scripts in the making here.

I met my FH at a pub in the East Village-hey, where else are you going to find a nice Irish boy??It was a Monday night, my friends and I just finished painting an apartment around the corner...we were all in jeans/sweats/Tshirts, hair up in hats, covered in paint, etc. I was recovering from a relationship that ended pretty badly, and I was finally enjoying my new-found single life.

Then, suddenly next to me was a guy with the most magnificent blue eyes I've ever seen. We hit it off immediately-he spent the rest of the night talking and laughing and goofing off with me and my friends. We exchanged numbers, and I guess the rest is history.

Funny how often you seem to find what you want/need when you are not looking!!

My Fh and I got together in 9th grade. I figured it would be a high school relationship at first but I was wrong.
We were class couple as seniors and then I went away to school and he stayed home. Well we made it through 4 1/2 years of being apart and doing th elong distance thing.
We were finally close to each other again in January when he moved back home. We got engaged in March. 8.5 years later here we are planning a wedding
