Where did you register??

Where did you register??

We just registered at Macys last night, and we loved it because they offer you 5% back on all purchases people make from your registry. Does anyone know of any other stores that offer incentives like that? Where did everyone register?! Thanks :)

Re: Where did you register??

i registered at Bed Bath and Beyond and Sears

i chose not to register at Macy's because apparently a lot of their things get discontinued. The only thing at BBB that was discontinued was my hand mixer and I had a 20 page registry of items.

BBB doesn't offer that specific incentive, but they do have programs like if you get $250 worth of cuisinart, you get a free giftcard for $50 or something - but then it's up to the person who bought it for you to get it. also, they have other incentives like if you add something to your registry, you get a free gift or if you add something and it is purchased you get another free gift, etc.

i would suggest going to teh store because they tell you all this stuff to help you get it

We chose Bed Bath and Beyond only. We have china already and didn't need anything more than the basics, so we kept it easy-breezy

I haven't registered yet. But for macy's to get the 5% back, is it automatic or do you need to have an macy's credit card?

BBB and Crate and Barrel... at BBB people can use 20% off coupons for our items so I was very happy about that. I also lovee Crate and Barrel so I couldnt resist registering there!

BBB and Honeyfund

BBB and Amazon.com. This way all our geeky friends who don't get off the computer have an option to not go to the store.

Macys and Amazon.com

myregistry.com - lets us add things we see from every store online. It gives people the option of finding the lowest priced options and also lets them know what's available in the stores. We have things on our registry from amazon, home depot, macy's, BBB, crate & barrel, anthropologie, target and more

Re: Where did you register??

Would def love to know more info about myregistry.com. My FH owns a home and we pretty much have everything we need so I am curious about registering for a honeymoon. Not sure how others (esp older relatives) would feel about that. Any feedback?

We registered at BBB and are thinking about Macy's for our China.

We registered at BBB and decided against Macy's - I've heard their return policy is a nightmare.

BBB.
But I found my China cheaper and with a soup bowl at a private store. BBB gives you cash on returns so stuff I decided I didn't really need (and the China) I received I returned got cash and now have it for other things.

i was thinking of registering at BBB and macy's, but i'm started to veer away from macy's...i saw a lot of things i liked in target....is that tacky? if i register at BBB and target?

Re: Where did you register??

Not at all... I am registering at Macys and possibly Crate and Barrel, I just couldnt resist the rewards macys offers if you register there. Target has some really great stuff for the home!

We have a BBB and started the Macy's tonight. With GiftRegistry360, you can do the same thing as Myregistry picking things from different store sites. Also, the Weddingchannel.com has a registry that puts them all together like that.

For our honeymoon registry, we chose travelersjoy.com. all of which fit into a nice package on the weddingchannel.com

Re: Where did you register??

make sure you sign up your card before people know about your registry. i thought it was automatically done, and people bought things and then i was told the first few items (which were expensive items) did not count because my card wasnt attached to the registry yet.

so much fun registering at macys
