I have to register soon, and I was thinking Macy's over Fortunoff's because they have sales, bonuses, etc. I particularly can't stand to be in either one for more than 5 minutes, but which did you chose and why?
I'm definitely gonna throw in Bed Bath and Beyond, 'cuz they have such cool stuff and FI likes it.

I registered at both. Most of my stuff is at Macy's because Macy's is everywhere (convenient for everyone) and runs sales quite often. Some things I wanted were at Fortunoff and not available at Macy's.

We are at both too! Only because Macy's carries our Casual China in the store and no one else does (Italian Country Side)
I kind of thought that the Macys Registry system seems so involved and annoying though. If all of my stuff was a Fortunoffs I would NOT be registered at Macy's too!

I did the Macy's thing but then they reconfigured and they told me I needed to do it all over again SO no more Macy's.
We are doing Bed, Bath and Beyond since you can return stuff for cash, Pottery Barn since we found our everyday china and glasses there and Crate and Barrel for their cool kitchen stuff.

We also did both, but the majority is at Fortunoff's. Honestly, I'm not thrilled with Macy's - their website kept screwing stuff up, adding things back on that I had taken off over a month before! Unfortunately they were the only place that had our bedding so that's why they were our 2nd place.... I don't think you can go wrong with Fortunoff's...

We registerd at Bed Bath & Beyond, Fortunoff's, Pottery Barn and William Sonoma. I know, so many places!!! We chose BB&B because I love that store. My FH works at PB so there is the discount on PB and WS of things that are not bought off the registry!!! I was not going to register at Fortunoff's because I do not live in NY and there are no Fortunoff's near me, but my Aunt (who is helping me plan) insisted that I register there, so rather than a fight I just added it to my list of registries!!!

I've been looking online, and it seems like Macy's has more stuff than Fortunoff's (esp. bedding: I can't find two of the three Calvin Klein sets that FH and I are trying to decide between). Did anyone find that Fortunoff's had way more in the store than they did online of something? Because, if not, it's going to be Macy's and Bed, Bath, and Beyond for us.

I registered at Macys for a couple of things because of the rewards program but main registry is at fortunoff it is just alot cleaner and much nicer of a set up.

I registered at Fortunoff over Macy's - I have seen and heard horror stories about Macy's- everything is all over the place and they often make mistakes removing things from the registry when they are purchased. Fortunoff is so organized. We also registered at Crate and Barrel and Williams-Sonoma

We already registered at Williams Sonoma and Crate & Barrel. We're registering at Fortunoff next week. I'm not a fan of Macy's, so the decision was rather simple.

Probably Macy's but we have already registered at Bed, Bath and Beyond (for our e-party) I think I would like to through in a 3rd - maybe Bloomingdales? but that may be too much like Fortunoff's....I'm pretty sure that we will also be registering at amazon.com because I want to put on a camcorder for the honeymoon!
