I am debating whether I want to get a full time job or some random part time job till I finish school? Was it hard for you to do both a full time job and full time college?

while doing undergrad i did work study at the library. while doing my master's i worked full-time. i didn't find it difficult to work full-time, but i also realized that i couldn't possibly do all my schoolwork. i was okay with that. i skipped some readings, skimmed others, and gave less than 100% during class. but i still got good grades and came out well-educated.
would it have been easier not to work during my master's? absolutely and if it's financially feasible don't do, spend time doing internships and gaining experience in your field. b/c i wasn't able to do that i've found it impossible to find a job now that i've graduated. it really just depends on you and what you want out of your education and of course how badly you need the money....

I worked part time in a party rental place and then got a new part time job in a real estate as a receptionist.

I did work study in my department during college. Senior year I also worked at the Children's Place in the mall. I'm starting grad school in the fall and I'll be working at my current job full time.

In college I worked in the university bookstore and also tutored. In grad school we weren't allowed to work.
I worked at Home Depot fulltime while getting my BA, plus PT at a gym.

When I was in Suffolk, I worked 2 PT jobs and when I went away to school, the first year I worked on campus as a campus tour guide for students that were interested in the school and the second year I worked at a daycare center.

Undergrad. I worked in the college admissions office about 20-25 hours a week. My undergrad college was impossibly difficult, and I never would have been able to work full time and still do the required work. For grad school I worked full time and took 2-3 classes a semester. Grad school was much easier than my undergrad., so I didn't have a hard time balancing it with my full time real job. I didnt have too much free time, but it was definitely doable.

I worked full time as a lifeguard at the Hofstra Swim Center (I went to Hofstra) it was the BEST college job! I did my school work and studying on my breaks & downtime. Plus when I wasn't studying, I was able to work out... and get paid to do all of that! Man... what I deal I had going...

I worked at a bar 5 nights a week, except for my final semester.
I worked at Associated Food store in Floral Park for 6 years! From senior year of HS through my 5 years of college.

For undergrad I worked p/t in retail. I first worked at Incredible Universe, when they went out of business I worked at Stern's, and then for my last year of school I worked at Ann Taylor Loft. For grad school I worked p/t as a behavioral specialist in a group home for developmentally disabled adults.

went to school full time for a year while working full time
if you are up too it, it's alot of work though. but you get it over with...if you are living with your FH, then it's possible but had i been single, i couldn't of gotten home and cooked dinner still and hw...etc..

I worked part time for Aid Auto Stores on Deer Park Avenue in Deer park, and I did Valet Parking for PArking Systems

For undergrad, I worked my butt off during the summers as a casual for the post office. For my Master's work, I was hired as a TA and taught labs for 20 hrs a week. For my PhD, I am a research assistant. I can't wait until my education is complete and I can learn in the 'real word.'

While I was in College - I worked in a doctor's office...it was really great.
i got to study, do my projects and reports in the office......

Greenpoint bank mortgage department for 4 years.... which is completely unrelated to what I was studying. But the pay was good.
