where did your mom get her dress?

and about how much if you dont mind me asking...i dont want my mom to spend too much ..especially since she doesnt like wearing dresses..i heard of estelles in farmingdale..is that a place that my mom can get a dress? feel free to post pics!!

Which dress? My mom had two!

Anyway, she got one at Bridal Reflections in Carle Place and it was around $800 (I think). The other one she got at Versace and I don't remember how much right now but it was alot. But my mom is not normal.

I think Estelle's is a great place to look for a gown for your mom at more reasonable prices than some of the bridal salons.

My mom got her dress at Cache in Roosevelt Field.

ETA- My moms dress was $250

My mom found one at Estelles by Montage that she is considering. It was a little over $500 there but got a quote of $362 from Netbride.

My mom searched high and low. But didnt want to spend $500 on a dress (she did this for my brother's wedding and thought it was a waste for one night) anyway, she got it at Lord and Taylor for......$39!
Yes, her shoes cost more, yet it was a gorgeous dress. She actually bought 2 because she couldnt decide on the color and her friend liked it so much she bought the one she didnt wear, for her son's wedding

Macy's of manhasset but it was an 'informal' wedding dress that she had most of the train cut off of

My MIL also got hers from Macy's in Manhasset she wore 2 different dresses both by Jovani.
The first one was $700 and the second was $550 ( I think)

My mom was trying on all sorts of frumpy dresses. I wanted her to look kinda sexy She doesnt like her body but look sawesome. I made her buy a bridesmaid dress at Bridal Suite of Centereach. This pic does not do her justice if it even posts. She ordered it in a dusty blue. It was about $150 as opposed to the $500 MOB dresses!

My mom found her dress at Bloomingdales on the sale rack! I think it came to around 150. Take your mom to Lord and Taylor, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom....they have some really nice stuff out right now....and they tend to be cheaper then mob dresses

my mom got her's at Paradise Bridal where I got my wedding dress and also the BM's dresses! They are really great there and have beautiful stuff. I think she paid around $4-500. Estelle's has nice stuff too, but not the service of a local bridal suite.
