My mom and FMIL are looking for dresses for the wedding. I was wondering if you guys could recommend me some places.

try Loehmann's. The dress selection is great.
My mom got her dress at a discount-type store (sort of like a Marshall's) that is out of state. They have really fancy gowns at some of these places for under $100!

My mom went to My Daughters Wedding in Great Neck. They have a HUGE selection and we loved it there.

My mom got her at David's Bridal and my FMIL got her dress at Estelle's.

my mom actually got hers in Davids Bridal. It was just a different style that was very flattering on her. It wasn't old lady looking, like most places have. It depends on what 'look' you are going for.

My mom's was from Lillettes.. which is where I got mine.
Made it easy so we could make our fittings the same day.

Try.. Helens in Commack Totally you in Bellmore Omnibus in Babylon And... if she sees something she likes have her call Carole at Burtons and she will try and beat the price ansd get the dress in for you!

The Wedding Center in Commack - my aunt got hers there for my cousins wedding
The Wedding Plaza in Floral Park - my mom bought hers there for my brother's wedding

I got mine in Florida, but I would absolutely recommend Totally You in Bellmore. They have lots of dresses, the prices are very reasonable and the salespeople are so helpful and not pushy.

Someplace in Brooklyn, but for my brother's wedding, she got it at Totally You in Bellmore. My aunt got her dress for both of my cousin's weddings there also.

I went with my mom to My daughter's Wedding in Great Neck. They have a great selection and are very nice.
I also heard good things about Sugarplum and R.k. Bridal.
