Went to Bridal Reflections- not buying from there.

I may end up using my mother's dress- redoing it a little, because going off of the thread asking out a 'dated look'- check out my mom's dress- it's the one in my avitar.

I went to Lillettes and worked with Pat and I LOVED her.. but I ordered my dress from Demetrios in Manhasset and worked with Charmaine who is the store manager there and I ADORED her!!!!

ETA.. I went to Bridal Reflections in Carle Place to look at BM's dresses and they are pure EEEEVVVVVIIIIILLLL in there.. JMO

Ditto on Salon Demetrios in Macy's Manhasset

The Bridal Suite in Centereach! I am dealing with Amy there.. she is such a sweetie! I have found the Bridal Suite to be the best prices around!

I ordered my dress from Bridal Reflections in Carle Place... I have been there 4x and all times everyone in there have been great... I don't know why you all had bad experiences there. They have been fantastic so far.... I hope it continues!

I actually have been almost everywhere on Long island and haven't really encountered anyone rude or anything bad. I felt a little pressure from Bridal Couture in Manhasset.... but i wouldn't call it a negative experience.

I am almost sure I will be purchasing mine at Valentina bridal.

I ordered my dress from Bridal Reflections in Massapequa and had a very good experience with them.

I have heard some negatives about Bridal Reflections in Carle Place

In my search, I visited Carmela's Bridal Garden (Huntington) PR Scilla (Huntington), David's Bridal, Lillette's, and Priscilla of Boston.

I ended up buying from Priscilla of Boston. They are VERY pricey, but they were the only ones who had anything that really clicked for me, and their customer service is impeccable.

Of the others, David's was a disaster (made me wait for ages because the girl who was supposed to work with me was 'late' for work - and it turned out after waiting for 20 minutes that she had just been in the back and nobody bothered to look for her. Their dresses really didn't do anything for me anyway. I tried on maybe 3 and then left and got lunch).

Carmela's Bridal Garden - I found the saleswoman to be pushy and irritating, and I really didn't like that they refused to even tell me the designer of the dresses I tried on. I'm not a fan of those kinds of underhanded sales tactics.

PR Scilla - Disaster. Pushy annoying saleswoman, and she had hardly anything in the store and kept trying to get me to look at catalogues instead of trying things on - I mean, come on, that's what the internet is for! If I come into the store, I want to try things on!

Lillette's - Definitely my second best experience after Priscilla of Boston. Their prices were fantastic, they had some lovely gowns, and the service was pretty decent. I didn't really click with our saleswoman, but that's fine. In the end though, they just didn't have what I was looking for. However, I definitely recommend checking them out, as they have a great selection.

Only went to Davids Bridal in wayne,nj...

they were very understaffed but that worked well for me.. i had one of my bridesmaids there with me.. all the lady had to do was bring me all the dresses i asked for...i dont like when they dote on your evrey whim.. i like to do my own thing... she did try to sell me the 'sample' but i ordered a new one and it came in quickly and perfect...

I'll be getting my alterations done wiht Phyllis at bridal elegance (gownfind)
