get your hair cut?

Usually my mother cuts my hair.

I am also looking for a hairdresser. I would like a nice cut and die/highlight job for a reasonable price!

But I don't trust anyone!

If you find someone, please let me know.
I am in Deer Park, but will travel.

Ouidad. Its in the city and costs a little over $100 to get it cut. Its called carving and slicing. If you go on their website they explain more about it. Plus, they show you step by step how to style your hair. Ive been there and when i left the salon i loved it. I have also tried to do it the way they tell you to and it still comes out good, not as good as the salon but good. It just takes a lot more time to style.

I cut my own hair. I am sure that it is not extremely even, but it looks fine.

Used to go to Quidad, but when Robert and Christo left...I followed! Now I'm over at Christo's salon on 5th Ave... Christo's Fifth Ave. Still with Robert...he's the best!!!
4 years later...with both Quidad and Christo's Fifth Ave...my hair's never looked SO GOOD!

mine's in chinatown in the city! it took me a LONG time to find a person i like. i started going to this place about a year or two ago. located on Pell street. a place called Alison Pell. don't be discouraged to go if interested.. they get plenty of non asian clients there.. my stylist is Tony.

I go to Salon D'Arel on N. Jerusalem in East Meadow, it is right on the N.Bellmore border. I have been going there for years. Al or Cindy cut my hair. Everyone there does a great job, and my hair is thick, long and curly. I also get my highlights done there as well and my nails. HTH

Ouidad woman as well!!! I use Anna and I like her alot. I have never been satisfied with haircuts I have gotten in the past but I am VERY happy with my results from going there!
