doesn't cost an arm and a leg? I'm thinking (last minute of course) of getting FH a Grand National cake..I have no idea where to start. I'm in Queens so close to there would be a great help.
Also, if anyone has any clue how much that would cost me I would love to know.
TIA

Re: Where do I get a grooms cake that
Brittany's Cakes. She's located in Garden City and makes really cute cakes. This is her page:
My friend Allison owns The Sweet Peace in Lynbrook (on Atlantic Ave), very close to queens. I'm paying a verrrrry reasonable price for a grooms cake that feeds 35-40, and she is so talented and creative. I highly recommend her
ETA here is her FB page!

see if you can contact the place where you are getting your wedding cake and maybe they will give you a discount?

Re: Where do I get a grooms cake that
I am getting FH's groom's cake from Black Forest Bakery and they by far gave me the best quote and the cake is beyond delicious. I know it's a bit of a drive from Queens but that is the only one I can vouche for.

That is a good price for an 80 person cake.

Try the bakery the manor uses. Tell them now much you want to spend and i am sure they will work with you. The owner is very eager to please manor brides. I got a great deal
