Where do people usually sign the guest book?

Is it at the CH or the reception?

good question. actually, the one wedding we attended where the ceremony was at the RH, i don't recall a guest book AT ALL. but if you are having the wedding at a church, people usually sign it on the way in to be seated.

We're getting married at Jericho Terrace, where our reception is. They put the placecards in the cocktail hour. Maybe we should have the sign in book go there as well?

I plan on having mine left by the placecards, but FH brought an interesting idea up - there will be people at the wedding ceremony that aren't invited to the church - so we may leave it out there and then make it my MOH responsibility to hand it to our bridal manager when we arrive for photos. We have to see.

I left it by the doorway to CH and then it was moved inside the doorway of the ballroom.

We had it out in the hallway during the reception on a table between the room and the bathroom so you couldnt miss it.
