I have a vera bridesmaid dress from bridal couture in manhassett. Its a beautiful dress, but the people there are very nasty. The wedding salon in manhasset also sells vera, i hear they are much better to deal with. Let me know if you pick one of her gowns, the wedding i was supposed to wear it in was canceled so i have this beautiful gown that i will probably never wear. It hasnt been altered or anything and is a size 6.

The Vera Wang website lists their stores across the country under the Maids section. There is also an exclusive Maids store in Manhattan on Madison. It's tough to get appts though - plan a few weeks out.

I went to Maid to Order in Brooklyn. It's very small - they have a limited selection of other designers, but they had most of Vera Wang's dresses. The salespeople were nice. We went early on a Saturday morning and had the place to ourselves.

I know Bloomingdale's on 3rd has them but not like a bridal salon would (i.e. order, etc).

There is a store in brooklyn - i think its called maid to order - my friend orders hers from there.

I had my FSIL try some on at the House of Botticelli in Bronxville (yonkers).
