i love every dress in BCBG!!! Check out 'I love my bear''s epics - she is in a BCBG dress and i think it's so gorgeous.

Also, if you're in the market to splurge on the e-party dress, a lot of diane von furstenberg dresses are super cute.

if you're trying to keep it more moderate, i saw a bunch of totally gorgeous 'little black dresses' at nordstrom all ranging around $100

I Love Nordstrom!!! I've been shopping more at Brooks Brothers than I have, Burburry, my fav. spot for he past few seasons... Staples I invest in (ie: suits, jeans, shoes). Can't forget about Max & Ginos, Foxs is a great shop too... Black/White in Woodbury, etc... Trends I buy on the cheap, Charlotte Russe/ Forever 21, b/c I prolly won't wear the item more than once.

Bloomies my all out fav, Nordstroms - shoes definitely, Century 21 if I have the patience...Lord & Taylor the one in the city is awesome.
And Loehmans, Filene's and Marshall's for odds + ends

I used to shop at Forever21 all of the time in HS and college but not so much anymore. sometimes i'll pop in for a second -- recently i bought a dress there and i love it!

I havent been shopping much but I love H&M! I also love Annie Sez -- I've gotten so many pairs of 7FAM jeans there for cheap + some red engine but now they seem to be picked out every time i go. It was nice while it lasted!

Oh my, this thread slyly seperated out the rich people and the poor people now didn't it? Proud to be the white trash shopping the racks at Marshalls!

or it might be by convenience...the store i shop most at is Maiko in forest hills-i never walk out of there without buying something which says alot for me bc i rarely buy things when i go shopping, Fh told me to even stop going to malls bc no matter how many stores there are ill leave with nothing but a few mins at this store i walk out with quite a few items...Not only do i love their clothes but its also 5 mins from my house and everything is between $40-80.

Honestly there is no marshalls or jc penny near me so of course im gonna stick to places that are more convenient for me to get to. I also grew up in astoria which is a 10min train ride to bloomies so for all of us it was very convenient to go there. People also end up shopping at places by their job too

On top of all your justifications for where you shop, I truly don't think anyone needs to make a point of mentioning that some of us have more money than others. Everyone has their own style. I'm not ashamed that I have some nice things and nobody else should be either. I also have some cheapie things, and I'm not ashamed of that either. They're just clothes...

i'm a denim wh*re, so that's where i really splurge. my jeans are mostly sevens and rock and republic - also just got my pair of true religion this summer.

after my denim habit, i can basically only afford the $8 wife beaters at old navy. well, i love them and i wear them a lot in summer.

also bloomies, banana republic, j.crew, BCBG, sometimes H&M (love it when H&M comes thru!), occassionally anthropologie (FH hates it there and makes serious fun of it), and fox''s in huntington

but i shop their anyway!!

Fh hates it because of all the big chunky sweaters and the very 'woodsy' feel to the store. He thinks everything in there looks either old lady or hippy. He just doesn't understand! Sometimes they have cute tops!!!
