Our officiant said that if it fits on my right hand to put it there. Or maybe your MOH can hold onto it during that time.

I put mine on my right hand and at the last second because I nearly forgot! Your wedding band should be closest to your heart!

mine doesn't fit on my right hand so i kept it on my left and dh just put the band on top, and then i switched them around right after the ceremony

What's wrong with leaving it on and he just put the wedding band on top of the engagement ring?

That's what I always thought people did...never realized you were supposed to not wear a ring when you exchange vows.

I think after that people just do w/e works for them...I'll prob wear the wedding band on the inside, but some people have 2 rings to wear around the engagement ring, and my mom wears her wedding band on the outside just bc it fits tighter than her engagement ring so that works better for her.

I kind of just slipped it off and held it in my other hand... some people will just wear it on their other hand during the ceremony

I am going to wear it on my right finger during the ceremony and then change it over after. My friends ring didn't fit on her right finger so her fh put it on top of her engagement ring and then she switched it later.

I left it on and he placed my wedding band on top since that is how I wanted to wear it

I'm just going to leave my engagement ring on my left hand and have my FH put the wedding band on top. Then I'll just change it after the ceremony. I feel like it's weird to wear your engagement ring on your right hand.. personal preference.
