I had meant to switch it to my right hand before the ceremony, but I forgot, so I switched i over right before FH put the wedding band on

FYI - Europeans, Russians and a few others wear their engagement ring and wedding band on their right hand. It was said to believe that years ago they believe the vein to your heart was felt on your right hand, and many people today still wear their rings there.

I always loved hearing this because I always questioned why the Russian people did this, and now I know why =)

It depends what works best for you and how you want to wear your rings. Traditionally your wedding ring is supposed to go on the inside because it closer to your heart. But some ppl like it the other way cause it may loom better to them. I will be wearing it on my right hand until after the ceremony

my wedding band doesn't match/fit with my e-ring (i have a marquis center) so during the prayer i took it off and put it on my right hand.

My ring is going on my right hand during my ceremony. My best friend had me (her MOH) hold it during her ceremony.
