we decided to split them, he spends thanksgiving and christmas eve with my family and I spend christmas day and easter with his family

Here in NY with my family as we do now.. i am sure we will go down to Fl sometimes.....

We'll stick with what we have been doing for a while...Palm Sunday & Christmas Eve with my family; Easter & Christmas with his family; New Years Eve & Thanksgiving with friends...seems fair for everyone!

we switch every year - last eyar we were with FH's family for Easter so this year we're gonna be with mine. It's worked out ok up to this point although sometimes i wish i could cut myself in half just to make everybody happy

FH parents live in PA so we really don't run into that problem. His son usually comes over for the major holidays and spends it with my family

We do half a day at each families house. This way we see everyone in one day. It works out well, because everyone lives in close proximity to one another.

Luckily, my parents live abroad and so, here's the plan... Jewish holidays: His parents house or one of his relatives Christmas: His uncle's Easter: Mine

we split the holidays ... every yr we HAVE to be my FH's grandma for Christmas Eve, so we go to my house Christmas Day ... so then its my house New Years Eve and Fh's house New Yrs Day ... thanksgiving is always his uncle's house .. so Easter is my house .. and Palm Sunday is his house ...
we try to be as FAIR as possible!!

Because our families live on opposite sides of the country...It depends. But..we try to do half and half.
