A month ago there were so many posts on the NWR board. Now there's no activity on this board. What happened?

I think most fans are gearing up for the post season. Holding our breath to make sure that no one gets hurt, Red sox's don't make a run for it, and that we can make it to October. This is the calm before the storm.

yeah, i agree, i think there will be a surge in a few weeks as the playoffs get closer.

Thanks Jen - we did have such a great time. But I really did miss my Yankee games (though DH didn't miss them, being a Mets fan )

The only thing we heard on the cruise was when then got Olerud. DH was a little upset because he LOVED Olerud when he was a Met and just couldn't believe he was a Yankee now

I hadn't even heard the latest reports about Giambi's health (benign tumor diagnosis) until we came home .. that entire story really troubles me, though. I worry about his health.

I've been here also .. just not a lot of positive talk about the Yanks lately, given how they've been playing
