I have a retirement party for my director at my school at Girgios, and need to find a dress. Where is a good place to go beside Macy's?

any other ideas. I dont want it too formal, but not too causual. Something not too revealing because there will be a lot of admintrators there, and this is my tenure year. Anyone have pics??

I was just in Daffy's in Smithtown yesterday and they had a TON of dresses. In fact, I bought two Also, what about the gap or J Crew? They have pretty dress that would be appropriate. Let me see if I have pictures.
ETA: This one is from JCrew. It's less than a hundred dollars. They have more on their website.
Ann Taylor? Not a huge selection but usually very simple pretty dresses.

Loehmann's has a great selection for all types of party dresses, work clothing, and formal wear. Their prices are very good too. They have a store I think in Woodbury on Jericho Turnpike and theres another on in Queens/Long Island border - Lake success. Check them out.
