Well...I am used to big festivities with my family but FH's family isnt as exciting as mine...LOL So, Christmas eve we spend with my dads side of the family and christmas day is moms side. Of course we stop in on Christmas day to see FH's family but we never stay long...even he agrees that my family knows how to celebrate much better!

Similiar situation to yours...FH is Jewish and I'm Catholic so we do xmas eve and xmas with my family and hanukah with his! It makes it a lot easier haha.

Christmas eve we spend with my small family and midnight mass, Christmas day we go to FH aunt and uncle's out in LI for big Italian feast!

Christmas eve is at my aunt's house. Christmas day might be at my house...I'm all prepared to cook but we aren't sure if my grandmother can come over because my bathroom is upstairs and she can't walk too well. SO, we might have to have it somewhere else. It's up in the air and really annoying.

all the fam goes to my parents house for christmas and we will be there tonight
i can't wait to get this hellish traveling over with.with all the delays yesterday i'm just praying for not too much of a delay tonight

For Christmas eve my moms side of the family celebrates.. Its a huge italian (and loud) family.. (i have 14 first cousins!!). We usually alternate where it is every year so this year its at my aunts house.
Christmas day my family usually just hangs out at home and we stay in PJ's all day eating and watching christmas movies... however I guess I have to go to FH's parents this year (boooooo)... but he is working until 4 so I have most of the day to do nothing!

well i have to work tomorrow 7-3 boo and FH has to work 8-1 double boo then christmas day i have to work 9-2 or 3? healthcare stinks
christmas eve FH will come with me to my aunt and uncle's. my jewish aunt will cook everything (she has done this every year since forever) and we have the big italian dinner w/ all the fish. then FH will leave to pick up his brother from the airport. spend sometime with him. then head back to my aunt's. and we go to midnight mass.
christmas FH his bro and parents are all coming to my parents house for dinner after i get out of work. thank god i have off the next day.
the only thing that ***** as i am sure most of you agree is all the driving. we live out in suffolk and my family and his family are in nassau. and we have a dog so we have to shuttle back and forth. and having to work makes it a lot. vent over. lol.

My Sister's house in Miller Place on the Eve. Christmas Day is at my FIL's and then at my Aunts for dessert.

Well were supposed to do Christmas Eve in NJ at FH's aunts, then Christmas morning were getting up and doing at FILs, then were coming home and doing Christmas here, and then dinner at my aunt and uncles in Lloyd Harbor.
But theres a possibility I will just be here doing things on LI and fh will be at the U. of PA hospital with his. (see my topic about needing prayers)

Christmas Day we're staying with our own families separately, but Christmas Eve we're splitting between the two.

Donna, Josh and Grandson plan to eat Christmas dinner with Josh's family, Debi and Fred will be with his family in Long Island, and Mary MOB will be eating here at home, with my Mom, DH, and Son. Mary MOB

I'm Jewish and FH isn't, so I love Christmas/Hanukkah because we don't have to worry where we are going!! Or split up the day!
Christmas eve we go to his aunt's house for lots of fish!!!
And christmas at Fh's mom's house!!!

Thats was like my parents...dad jewish mom catholic...so we had it good. Christmas Eve Im going to FMIL for a small get together, my mom is working:( Christmas day going to FH aunt's and then to mine

We are spedning xmas eve with FFIL and then in the mornign we have to go see FMIL and then into the city to spend the day with my parents (up from FL) and my sis at her place.
