I'm Jewish and FH isn't, so I love Christmas/Hanukkah because we don't have to worry where we are going!! Or split up the day!
Christmas eve we go to his aunt's house for lots of fish!!!
And christmas at Fh's mom's house!!!

The question for us is where do we NOT go?? LOL. We start the Eve at my Mom's house...she's completely alone this year and her BF is going back home to Jersey... then we are leaving only for an hour or so to one of his aunts in Merrick...for his Dad's side... then we are back home with my Mom...
As for the next mornng...we start off at my house... go to his Paretns house... leave with all of them to the Mom's side of his family... then this year we are leaving there early to go to MY sisters house and finally celebrate with MY family...

The owner of my company just gave my department off tomorrow (we were supposed to work). everyone else has to work tomorrow though! so happy. now i can finish xmas shopping.

Christmas Eve I will be running around like a lunatic trying to get everything done! Christmas morning is FH mom's house for breakfast and opening gifts (they do it in PJ's.. which is cute and all but I sometimes feel uncomfortable doing that)... then back to my house to cook and stuff before family comes (I am hosting for like 12 people)... then at a certain point i have to leave people in my house to go to FSIL house for about an hour then back to my place with my family. Next year we need to plan a lot better. But we will be married by then so it should be easier!

Christmas Eve (aka Noche Buena to Latin Americans) is always at my mom's house. We have a big party and at midnight when it becomes Christmas, we have a champagne toast and open a few presents! Then Christmas morning FH and I open our presents at home just the two of us, and our furry family. Then it's off to my parents who live about 30 seconds away from us, then to his parents! WHEW!
