Where Is Everyone Having Their Reception?

So ladies...where is everyone having their reception?

Are you also having your ceremony there as well or having a church wedding?

I'll go first since I brought up the subject...FH and I are having our ceremony and reception at the same place...where that place will be we're not sure yet but we have it narrowed down to two places...either Westbury Manor or Abigail Kirsch's Stage 6 at Steiner Studios

personally i'm leaning toward Stage 6 at Steiner Studios

Just looked Stage 6 up on-line. What an awesome place! Total 180 from Westbury!!

You Ladies have to look at Larkfield Manor!! That's where I'm having my reception, they were affordable and the place is absolutely gorgeous. The food...to die for, everything there is great!! Good Luck!!

yeah i know...i LOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE Stage 6...but to be fair to my parents...i wanted to take a look at another place..just so we have something to compare too...i mean there's no real comparison but i want to be fair

I think it's the tiffany crystal room? It's one of the rooms on the penthouse floor (the highest floor), what about you?

one of the 07 brides had her wedding there and it looked AMAZING in pictures...and i've heard nothing but good things from friends of mine who've been to events there...you're definitely in good hands

Winter bride!..........we have the same exact room! That room is oustanding lol.......We gauranteed 180, but I know we may have more. How many did u guarantee?

is it bad to say we stopped looking at places??!!
Money is so tight we cant even afford to dream of where we would have it...and all the places that we saw that were super cheap arent where we want to have it...stuck between a rock and a hard place...

There's nothing wrong with that. If I wasn't looking for a specific date, I probably wouldn't have booked right now. The money's not exactly flowing freely here either. Its gonna be a real struggle.

I LOVE that room, especially the floors! but I heard they could be slippery I guaranteed 200, we're expecting between 200 and 250....he said that room could hold 300, but I hope it won't be too tight...did you figure out your colors yet or if you have a theme you want to go for?

I haven't decided on a theme as yet....but I have some colors in mind. I think I want the girls to wear terracotta.......its like on the orange/rust side....im also liking apricot lol. i have my mind on like a peachy color lol.........how about u? I kind of had to change my whole theme b/c i was originially planning on having a fall wedding (october), but we ended booking in the summer.

Love that color, very unique and tropical! I'm going with a winter theme...lots of ice blue, silver, white, and snowflakes

Thanks! Dress? Ohh booyy....that was so much drama.. I actually ordered a dress, but it was all wrong, I got it mostly because my mother and FMIL loved it, but it wasn't me...so I ended up ordering a new dress, i'm waiting for it to come in now, i'm nervous! My old dress was a P.C. Mary's and the new one is eve of milady...I always thought I would end up with demetrios but it didn't work out that way..Did you pick a dress? Have u started looking?

Please please please try to post pics!!! I would loveee to know all the details as possible!!.. .I am just waiting to get a weekend off work so I can get down to Capitale and sign a contract..also, did she like the wedding cake? hahha.. sounds funny, but I hear an '06 bride did NOT like it...Capitale includes the cake, but I wouldn't mind going somewhere else if it was that gross...

Oh, and black tie looks amazingggggg - I don't think I would have the guts to ask my guests to wear black tie only, but it does look so so good!

we're having the ceremony and the reception at the riviera, although we havent decided whether we're having the ceremony inside or outside. FH cant picture getting married outside, and I'm kinda iffy about it. besides, i might see if its possible to get the lead singer of his favorite band to play the music i'm walking down the isle to

I am having my reception at the Westbury Manor on Jan 10, 2010. I almost lost the date so we had to book right away. I was suprised that dates for 2010 were going so fast!
