So ladies...where is everyone having their reception?
Are you also having your ceremony there as well or having a church wedding?
I'll go first since I brought up the subject...FH and I are having our ceremony and reception at the same place...where that place will be we're not sure yet but we have it narrowed down to two places...either Westbury Manor or Abigail Kirsch's Stage 6 at Steiner Studios
personally i'm leaning toward Stage 6 at Steiner Studios

We are having both our ceremony and reception at the same place, Chateau Briand. Which we just booked yesterday, finally after me going to what felt like every reception hall in most of nasau county

Our reception is in the Winter Garden Pavilion (GORGEOUS) and our Cocktail Hour is in the Rose Hunt room (restaurant)

is it bad to say we stopped looking at places??!! Money is so tight we cant even afford to dream of where we would have it...and all the places that we saw that were super cheap arent where we want to have it...stuck between a rock and a hard place...

i understand only too well how you feel. we stopped looking for awhile but now we've started looking again..nothing serious...but i wanted to have an idea of places and prices to show my dad...since he said he was willing to foot the bill
but don't worry you and your FH will find a place that's beautiful and affordable!

when we got engaged in august we looked at 7 or 8 halls from sept-oct. we had a small eparty in nov and since then we have not looked at any other halls except for last weekend. we just got caught up in the holidays and always being busy on the weekend. we are going to look at a few halls in westchester this weekend or next weekend and then we will be booking
