I just found out some great news, my in laws are giving us there house in pjs for real cheap, I'm so excited, where is everyone going to live, I'd love to hear!!

In the same house we live in now. We bought it together last December and in like 3 years we are goin gto build a house upstate on a lake (we already have the property)

Thanks JORO!! I also feel the same way whenever I am around a small child. I look at them and say wow I really do want one! Believe me I never thought that way before.

Same co-op we have been in for 2 years, with a goal of 3 years to get our own house. We'll have to wait and see, these prices on LI are crazy.

We'll continue to live in our home in Huntington.

Don't know what we'll be doing 3-5 yrs down the road. Either we'll add another story & expand out or we'll start looking for another home.

Will live in NYC together... in a few years, will look for a home in Westchester or Rockland county.

IN our 2 bedroom apt-rent is cheap so i'm happy but can't wait to start house hunting for our 'own home' after the wedding.

We are staying put! We live in an apartment in my sister's house so we have the best of both worlds!!! We will look for a house sometime next year hopefully!!!

Thanks Lisa Anne, I am actually looking in the towns of Kings Park, St james and Nesconset too. I know how you girls feel about spending so much money on a wedding but the memories that you create will last a lifetime, and that is priceless. I also understand about wanting everything by the time I am 30. Oh well, I am almost 33 and have yet to be married, have a house or kids. I decided my career was more important and wanted to achieve that before my other goals. Although I am a litttle older now, I am more mature and wiser, and happy that all of my goals are within a close reach now!!

Personaly I love Kings Park. We have the water and lots of woods and parks. Great school system for kids. If I can help you out with info and if you want I can check pennysaver and stuff and I can try to help as much as I can.

I live in the upstairs apt of a 2 family house that my father owns (he lives in Fla and rents both apts). I live with a roommate now but my FH will move in when we get married (can't beat the rent hee-hee)

My aunt lives in St. James! I used to love walking to the General Store. When we were house shopping, we were looking into Nissequogue & Head of the Harbor, but decided the commute to the airports & NYC was just too much for my FH.

Thanks ladies I would be very happy in any of the towns I am looking, although I know Smithtown, St james and Kings Park have a special quaint appeal to hem. Any info would be greatly appreciated. I am using a real estate agent, looking on the computer, and the newspaper to find homes.
