My FH and I already live together and both lived alone before so we really have everything we need. Well, not everything..but a lot of stuff.
Where is everyone registering? Is anyone else in the same boat as me?

Same here....we both lived on our own and now live together, so really we're just upgrading our stuff or registering for things we need.
So far we registered at Target. Not sure where else we will register at.
Although I know fine china is not on my list!! I don't believe in having plates for display only, and we don't host any sit down dinners!

I don't want fine china either!!! FH's aunt last week told me she wanted to get me china and I was like 'um..you don't have to do that!!!' LOL FH thinks we should register at Target too. He said we'll always need stuff from there.

You and I have the same situation...
My FH and I already bought our Condo... so we slowly got things like everyday dishes, and utensils, George forman, good pots and pans...
There are lots of things we still need though that we held off on getting so I could put something on the registry... Like a blender, Mixer, toaster oven, nice China.
I am registered at Fortunoffs... I love everything I selected... Just remember to register for a few things in every price range... We also added like water pitchers, and vases so everyone would find something to get.

Great ideas thank you! I can actually use some things to hang on my walls. My bedroom walls are bare and we have lived here almost a year and a half! I'd like some vases too.

we were/are in the same boat as you. (I said 'were' because I already had my shower).
We wanted to upgrade a lot of the stuff we already had (nicer coffee maker, better knives, gadgets we didn't have, new everyday china, etc). we registered at Fortunoff & B,B&B.

Yep...but I would like new stuff so I registered at BB&B, Macys, and Pfaltzgraff for everyday china. I registered for pots and pans (good ones), china, good blender and mixer, etc.

Yep...but I would like new stuff so I registered at BB&B, Macys, and Pfaltzgraff for everyday china. I registered for pots and pans (good ones), china, good blender and mixer, etc.
I love Pfaltzgraff..great idea! Their outlet in Bellport is wonderful!

We are in the same situation, we already live togeather and already have a lot of things we would have registered for. I am going to register at Bed Bath and Beyond and Fortunoff though, because I am sure there is more stuff we could use.

Macys and fortunoff. We found that fortunoff didnt have certain colors of things and macys had them but not the other so we mixed and matched. The only thing with target and bbb is that they change their selection often which is why we didnt choose them cause my brother got an email a week telling them that they were discontinuing something so we opted to not register there, and to wait until 6 months before to register

FI and I have lived together for 2 years. I've been living in apartments since my sophmore year in college so I had a lot of dishes, utensils, pots and pans, sheets, towels etc. However, I definitely wanted to upgrade and to get nice china so we registered at bed bath & beyond and fortunoffs. We attempted to register at a couple of other stores, but had bad experiences. We found BB&B to be the most pleasant registering experience and it had the best offers (cash back for returns, returns up to 2 years after the wedding, 10% off items on your registry that were not purchased).

Like everyone else we've lived together for a long time and before that we both lived on our own for a long time. We were going to register for our HM, but talked ourselves out of that and decided to upgrade our things. We registered at BB&B and Fortunoff. The only items we registered at Fortunoff was our plates and that's just because they're the only ones that had them. (Stonewear not China)

We both lived on our own too, and now we live together so we're in the same boat. We already have a ton of stuff and don't really need anymore.
But I think it would be nice to have some new things that are 'ours' and not used to be mine/his. So we registered at JCPenney's to get some things we like, otherwise we'll get gifts that don't fit into our style/decor/needs at all!!
