Where is everyone staying on their wedding night?

After reading Ladyprincess post this morning, I started to think about it.

I'm not sure about this. We are not planning on living together until we are married, so we might just go to our new apartment that night. I have heard some great things about Danford's, but we'll see when the time comes.

This is the one thing that I want NO part in. I handed this task to Pat and I am hoping he will go with it and pick some place nice!!!!!!

I don't know where we are going to stay we want some place nice and close to the reception hall at the same time. We definately want to stay in a hotel though.

I think we decided to stay at either the Holiday Inn next to CB where the guests are staying or at the Hilton(or was it Marriot?) thats not too far away.

We wanted to stay at Fox Hollow but we realized we wouldnt get our $$$ worth since our reception ends at 1AM!

YEA you know what me and my FH were looking into the Fox Hollow Inn but how are there pricies? I heard it is really nice.

We are staying at the Inn at Great Neck....mainly b/c it's so close to where our reception is, and it is where all of our OOT guests will be staying. Plus my FIL's are having a bruch there for us the next morning. I would LOVE to stay at a suite in the GCH, but the truth is, we will be in the room for about maybe 6-7 hours and I can't justify the $$ for that small amt of time!!!

one of our gm's mentioned something about renting us a hotel in the city - which would be awsome.

No def plans yet though :)

We get a free traditional room at the Inn with our package, but I'm thinking about upgrading it to the Ambassador (honeymoon) suite.

our wedding ends at 1 am so we will be in a hotel for like 8 hours if that... MIL is having a brunch teh next day

we are staying where all of our guests are staying

it is not a big deal to us

we're either doing the same thing, or staying at the roslyn claremont hotel. it's absolutely GORGEOUS there and they have a romance package :O)

that way we leave for the honeymoon the next day, and when we come back, he can carry me over the threshold and we can begin the rest of our lives together!

i can't wait!!

I had wanted to stay in the GCH the night before with my girls, and then that night w/ my FH, but at 600 something per night, that is just crazy!! My second choice was the marriott in uniondale, i think most of my guest's will stay there so that will be fun, and we can do a brunch there the next morning!
