I'm starting to get nervous! My gown is still not in! My wedding is only 3 months away, and I realized today that I should probably try to make an appt. to get it altered even though I don't have it yet. I want Phyllis from Bridal Elegance to do my alterations since I've read so many positive reviews about her on LIW. So I called her, and she said her appts. were starting to book up very fast for the season, so I made an appt. for early May. Now I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that my dress comes in before then! I ordered my dress from the Commack Wedding Center. Can anyone who got their dress from them tell me if their dress came in when they were told it would be in? TIA!

Is your dress late? When did they say it would be in? My dress was promised for the first week of May, and it had better arrive, as I' m getting married the first week of June. I contacted Commack, and I contacted the dress manufacturer just to be sure and they both told me it was on schedule, not to worry. So are you worried that it's not in early? Because from what I understand, most dress manufacturers make their dresses by wedding date if they're busy, so they likely might be waiting until they have to do yours, as it's getting into the busy season.

when I ordered it in December they told me it would be 3 or 4 months. And when I called about a month ago, they told me the end of April. So the dress is not technichally late yet. I guess when I orginally heard them say it might be 3 months, I was expecting in to be in by March. I'm like a little kid sometimes! I just can't wait!
